Quality
Innovations follows a six step implementation process:

Conduct
the Executive Workshop
The
implementation effort begins with executive management, since management involvement
is essential to success. During the executive workshop, we overview the
requirements of the ISO standard with special emphasis on management
responsibility. We facilitate the development of a Quality Policy and
Quality Objectives, since both are requirements of the standard. We will also
charter an implementation team, develop a responsibility matrix and establish an implementation
plan. We can also assist you in selecting a registrar.

Conduct
Implementation Team Training
Except
for very small organizations, we will help you establish an implementation team.
The implementation team coordinates the day-to-day activities of the implementation
effort. Implementation team training includes overviewing the ISO 9000 standard, training
in teamwork and further defining the implementation plan developed at the
executive workshop.

Develop
the ISO-9000 System
The
implementation team coordinates writing the three levels of documents which
will be the foundation of the quality management system, the quality manual,
quality procedures and work instructions. Quality Innovations can assist you
with this process by facilitating team meetings, providing training on
procedure writing and working with individuals and departments to develop
their procedures. Once these documents are completed, employees attend
training on the new procedures and work processes. After the training, the
three levels of documents are issued. Once issued, employees are expected to
follow the procedures when performing their work. The final step in
developing the ISO 9000 system is to document compliance with your
procedures with records.

Conduct
an Internal Audit
An
internal audit is an evaluation of the performance of your quality
management system. Quality Innovations can assist you with the internal
audit by performing the audit for you or by training a team of your
employees to perform the audit. The audit will uncover non-conformances,
which are written up as findings. We will assist you with resolving the
findings uncovered during your internal audit.

The
Registrar’s Pre-Assessment Audit (Optional)
With
a pre-assessment audit, your registrar does a "trial run" of your
registration audit. This audit provides the opportunity to make adjustments
to your quality management system in preparation for your registration
audit. Quality Innovations can assist you with resolving any findings resulting
from the pre-assessment audit.

The
Registration Audit
During
the registration audit, your registrar decides whether your quality management
system complies with the ISO 9000 standard. You may have findings during the
registration audit, but if they are not major, you will probably be able to
resolve them by mail. Quality Innovations can assist you with resolving any
findings resulting from the registration audit.
